The honey packed by Hunajayhtymä comes directly from domestic honey producers all over Finland. We pack the honey and deliver it to store shelves for customers. Approximately 150 of our contract producers take care of their bees and produce honey in the midst of our country's clean nature. For our contract producers, the welfare of bees and their proper care are important. This is how good Finnish honey is made.

You can find the origin towns of your honey by checking the "best before" date on our honey jars. Many packages list multiple origin towns. Some of our contract producers have small batches of honey, and we at the Honey Cooperative combine honey from small producers into a larger delivery batch.
